1. What is a Electronic Cigarette and how does it work?
An Electronic Cigarette is a personal vaporizer. Its a device that imitates a real cigarette. They come in all different shapes and sizes, and allow the user to vape whenever and wherever without regulation. The Electronic Cigarette is composed of 3 parts; a battery, an atomizer, and a cartridge/mouthpiece. When a user takes a puff/inhale of the personal vaporizer, the lithium ion rechargeable battery powers on the atomizer. At this point, the atomizer pulls the liquid from the cartridge to produce this vapor. The nicotine is then absorbed into the blood stream through the lungs and mouth providing almost instant relief from those pesky cravings.
2. What is in the juice and the Vapor you inhale?
Three main ingredients make up this liquid. They consist of:
Water - Clean and pure.
PG (Propylene Glycol) - Considered generally food safe by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) Its mainly used in flavoring extracts but can also be found in medicines, cosmetics, hand soap, etc ...
Nicotene - Except in liquids that are labled non nicotene.
3. How long does a full cartridge last?
I have heard several different answers to this. I can't answer this accurately. I can tell you that each model has a different cartridge and they all hold different amounts of liquid. In short - anywhere from 5 real cigarettes to close to 1/2 pack. From my personal excperience.
4. Can I smoke My Electronic Cigarettes everywhere?
Electronic cigarettes do NOT fall under any tobacco smoking ban. Some places are more accepting than others. This is at the determination and approval of the actual business establishment you are trying to Vape at. When approached I simply tell them that I am using my "vapor stick". Most want to buy one!
5. Will this help me quit smoking?
We are not allowed to advertise or market the electronic cigarette as a smoking cessation device. We simply call these a smoking alternative. Vapor-Stix cannot guarantee that anyone will quit smoking while using our products. I can tell you that I haven't smoked since I tried it for the first time. Some don't quit, but they do cut back on their traditional cigarettes. In the end it still takes the desire to quit in order to lay down traditional cigarettes. What I can tell you is that you WILL save money using the electronic cigarette as opposed to buying real ciagerettes.
6. Can anyone use an electronic cigarette?
No. Persons under the legal smoking age of your state.
Other people included but not limited to are :
* Those who suffer from heart disease or high blood pressure.
* Pregnant, nursing, or those thinking of becoming pregnant.
* Those allergic to nicotine or other PG based products
If you are not sure if you should use the electronic cigarette, please consult your physician.
7. Is the electronic cigarette safe?
The Electronic Cigarette contains water, propylene glycol, nicotine, a scent that emulates a tobacco flavor and a membrane to suspend the ingredients. None of these ingredients are considered cancer causing agents. The Food and Drug Administration deems propylene glycol safe. Nicotine itself is not believed to have toxicological effects, offers some therapeutic uses and can be found in pepper, tomato, eggplant and potato. None of these ingredients contains carcinogens. So the e cigarettes are much safer compared with a traditional cigarette and cigar.
